I am a digital product designer specializing in artificial intelligence (AI). I'm currently based in the Philippines, currently working for a Singapore-based company where we aim to help the elderly through reminiscence therapy and AI.

Through design, I engage with diverse industries, satisfying my curiosity about life's inner workings. Collaborating with like-minded individuals, I create solutions and explore different problem-solving approaches. The optimist in me hopes that this positively affects the people I design for, ultimately contributing to a better future.

I enjoy building products and now I'm learning to create them on my own–through tools such as Cursor and v0.

FAQ: You were a nurse?!

Healthcare + design

I pursued a bachelor's degree in nursing as a scholar in one of the Philippines' top schools. While I found being inside operating theaters and emergency rooms exhilarating, I wanted to create tools and systems that could help people on a larger scale rather than treat individual patients daily. So after passing the national licensure exam, I sought to explore the fields of technology and design.

From healthcare to design to healthcare design, I've worked on projects that improve access and quality to the industry–volunteering in mental health organizations, doing UX reviews for a VR pain management company based in Australia and enabling clinics and hospitals to provide medical services in the middle of a pandemic through a Singaporean startup.

I then moved to Barcelona, Spain where I finished my masters degree in design and artificial intelligence at ELISAVA. For my final project, I envisioned how new technologies can be integrated to our daily lives to keep us healthier.

Always learning

Nerding out

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me closing countless tabs from reading random newsletters or watching YouTube explainers on geopolitics and how the world works. Lately, I’ve been hooked on the New York Times Games app, trying to solve the Mini crossword in under a minute every day.

An amateur at most hobbies, I look way too serious when playing the drums and constantly struggle to find the perfect composition in photography. On a personal mission, I’m just one book away from completing my Calvin and Hobbes collection. Speaking of books, I can’t recommend Trevor Noah’s Born a Crime enough. Oh, and I recently discovered my rare superpower of tuning out nagging people—it’s called ear rumbling.

I'm still stuck learning the basics of Spanish. Necesito dinero, por favor.
